Local families can learn what it is like to be an archaeologist. York Archaeological Trust will be running fun and engaging tasks such as test-pit excavation, finds washing, spoil sieveing, planning and scale drawing, animal bone identification and archaeology and history timeline.  Children will rotate between activities over a full hour session and must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
