Peatland Restoration

Peatlands Restoration Restoration work has begun on the site to improve conditions on the internally important lowland raised mires at the Humberhead Peatlands National Nature Reserve.  This has included the spraying and removal of invasive species such as the Rhododendron.  The work will promote more favourable conditions for the future by reducing evapotranspiration.
