Reconnecting People with their Landscape and Cultural Heritage

The Landscape Partnership belongs to a number of schemes funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund which aims to make a difference to how people perceive, appreciate and care for distinctive landscapes across the UK.

The Landscape Conservation Action Plan (LCAP) has been successfully approved by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and the partnership has been awarded £1.84m funding taking the total project budget to just over £3m. There are a total of 16 projects included in the LCAP that will be delivered between 2017 and 2021. Local groups and individuals are encouraged to learn more about the scheme and to support the activities however they can.

Our Landscape Conservation Action Plan provides the context and detail of all the projects we aim to undertake during the lifespan of ‘Isle of Axholme & Hatfield Chase Landscape Partnership. You can download a pdf of the plan here – Landscape Conservation Action Plan

Please look round our website to find out more, and sign up to future alerts and newsletters. Please contact us if you have ideas, or can help local projects with resources or volunteering.

We are now celebrating the half way point of the project and the poster below details some of our key achievements.
