
Belton Folklore and History Walk
Join us on a 5 mile walk that will takes us through a thousand years of history in the Isle of Axholme. Discover some of the local legends and folklore of the area whist taking a pleasant stroll around the area.
We will finish by looking at remnants of strip farming in Belton Open Field before recuperating at the Crown Inn in Belton.
The tour will leave from near the site of the former Steer Arms – Junction of Belgrave Close with High Street (A161) Belton DN9 1QS
FREE event and no booking required – just turn up before the meet time of 2pm. Well behaved dogs on leads at all times are also welcome to join in. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
