The Isle of Axholme and Hatfield Chase Landscape Partnership officially launched on Friday 3 March 2017. Whilst the Landscape Partnership has been around for a number of years, our work has been focused on developing the Landscape Conservation Action Plan (LCAP).
After receiving the go ahead from the Heritage Lottery Fund we wanted to promote the £3m project funding along with the 16 projects that are taking place throughout the Isle of Axholme and Hatfield Chase.
The event took place at Hirst Priory in Belton and we had over 40 residents, community groups attend along with parish and ward councillors.
We had a lot of interest in our projects, there is a great mix and cover conservation, landscape and heritage. Some residents even signed up to volunteer and get involved with what is going on.
If you are interested in learning more about the Landscape Conservation Action Plan you can take a look out the full document here.
For a quick look at the projects we are running access our project list here.
