Archaeology and Heritage Officer: Post No. PLTE2242
Scale 7: £22,937 to £27,123
Full Time (37 hrs): 5 Year Contract
As Heritage Officer you will have a key role in organising and delivering an annual programme of events, workshops and training. This will include archaeological community digs, surveys and oral history. You will also have oversight of several archaeological/heritage based projects and will be a driving force in the recruitment of trainees and volunteers who will support and be involved in the 15 plus projects that the partnership is to run.
This is an important and responsible post based in Scunthorpe but requiring site work and that you work from several office locations across the Partnership area. This full time post is funded by the Heritage Lottery and line managed by the Project Manager. It offers home working by arrangement and flexible working hours; eligibility for membership of a Local Government Pension Scheme; a relocation package, and; travel and subsistence allowances.
Community Education Officer: Post No. PLTE2244
Scale 6: £19,048 to £22,212
Part Time (16 hrs): 5 Year Contract
Here there is an opportunity for a person suitably qualified in teaching and with a background in delivering training in the environmental land based sector, through community engagement, to join the Partnership. As Education Officer you will develop and deliver a training programme that educates local people about the landscapes of the partnership’s area, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to better understand and safeguard the natural and cultural heritage found in those landscapes.
You will be responsible for identifying, planning and delivering a programme of training courses to a variety of audiences including local schools, volunteers and community groups.
This is a part time post based at North Lincolnshire Council Offices in Scunthorpe. It is funded by North Lincolnshire council and line managed by the Project Manager. There is a requirement to travel and work from locations around the partnership area. This post offers flexible working hours; eligibility for membership of a Local Government Pension Scheme, and travel and subsistence allowances.
Administrator: Post No. PLTE2243
Scale 4 : £15,355 to £16,319
Part Time (18.5 hrs): 5 Year Contract
As Administration Assistant you will be involved with the collection and collation of funding claims to the Heritage Lottery Fund along with the administration of accounts and project paperwork, so previous experience in this area is essential.
You will be involved in helping to plan for and run events, which are a key part of delivery for the project as a whole. It is likely that on occasions there will be a need to attend at sites, events and other locations therefore. Experience with updating websites, creating newsletters and using social media is desired.
This part time post is funded by the Heritage Lottery. Based in Scunthorpe it is line managed by the Project Manager. This post offers flexible working hours; eligibility for membership of a Local Government Pension Scheme, and travel and subsistence allowances.
