Our Landscape of Heroes project has an opening for their Project Development & Research Officer.
The project is being run by The Landscape Heritage Research Foundation, a small, independent, not-for-profit research organisation developing environmental, landscape and community projects, activities and outputs / resources.
The Landscape of heroes project will run for 18 months, and is community based and sets out to work with local people to re-discover and celebrate the lost military landscapes in and around the Isle of Axhome.
The post-holder will be required to work with and support a small team of volunteers and part-time workers plus specialist advisers / contributors, to develop the themes of the project. This will involve regular meetings in Sheffield, community events in the Axholme area, and liaison meetings with the wider Axholme Project Task Group.
