Community Grant Scheme
The IoAHC are happy to announce the launch of their Community Grant. The grant provides an opportunity for Communities, Land Owners and Local Organisations to plan where they would like to deliver outcomes for the Landscape Partnership.
Applicants can apply for a maximum of £2,000. We are encouraging applicants to provide match funding to assist their application and it is possible for volunteer time to be included as match.
The Landscape Partnership have a number of priorities relating to their scheme and therefore community projects will also need to be able to demonstrate they meet one or more of these priorities. The priorities are:
- Heritage – Helping to restore, increase access to or increase recording of heritage. This includes local history, culture and nature.
- Awareness and Understanding of Local Landscape – Increasing the opportunity for residents and visitors to gain a better awareness and understanding of their local landscape.
- Community Heritage Capacity – Providing training and opportunities for communities to develop skills and affectively manager their heritage.
- Legacy – Getting volunteers involved with landscapes and heritage to ensure a legacy of activity.
You can find further information on priorities and outcomes in the Community Grant guidance.
If you are interested in applying for the community grant please first familiarise yourself with the guidance and then complete an Expression of Interest. You can find both documents in the menu to the right.
